My name is H.C. Duryea. I’ve been writing dark fiction for longer than most of the internet has existed. Grimdark fantasy. Pulp horror. Stories with teeth. I spent decades filling notebooks and drawers with characters who deserved better than to rot in the dark.
That ends now.
The Forge is open. The first story — The Weight of Silver — is live in Tales From The Forge. It’s a Vareland tale — a young soldier’s brutal education in what duty, honor, and the men who preach them are actually worth.
